Climate of the land

Due to its proximity to the Thar Desert, the land has extreme climates. The summers are very hot and the winters are very cold. Summer starts in March and ends in June. The temperature can go as high as 48 degrees C. Although the region is extremely hot during summer, the humidity is low.

Fortunately, most of the luxury trains do not run during the peak summer season. July to September is the monsoon season. The land does not receive heavy rainfall. The temperature does not fall down considerably during the monsoon season. November starts the winter season and the temperature becomes pleasing during the day and very cold during the night. The temperature can go as low as 4 degrees C during the night.
